Barclays Princess Rewards Visa is a no-annual-fee points card from Barclays. It earns 1x on purchases, which puts it behind most rewards cards; you hold it for the account itself, not the rewards. Rewards are Princess Cruises points that only spend inside that program, so we value them at roughly a third of a cent each.
On our reference budget of $24,600 a year it returns about $92, an effective 0.4% back. The welcome bonus, 20,000 points after $1,000 in 90 days, adds to the first year's return.
Get it if you already fly or stay with Princess Cruises often enough to use the perks. A general travel card earns points that go more places.
Earn 2x points per $1 spent on all Princess purchases including onboard purchases.
Earn 20,000 Bonus Points after spending $1,000 in qualifying purchases within the first 90 days - that's enough to redeem for $200 in onboard credit
