FNBO JAL USA CARD Basic is a $35-a-year miles card from FNBO. It earns 0.5x on purchases, which puts it behind most rewards cards; you hold it for the account itself, not the rewards. Rewards are JAL miles that only spend inside that program, so we value them at roughly a third of a cent each.
On our reference budget of $73,200 a year it earns $122, which clears the $35 fee with $87 to spare before any credits or perks.
Keep business spending on it for the separate statement alone; the rewards are the extra. Check the issuer's other business card before deciding, since the categories differ more than the fees do. It charges 3% on foreign purchases, so leave it home when you travel abroad.
No welcome bonus is stored for this catalog entry yet.
10% discount on in-flight purchases on JAL/JAL Group International and Domestic flights by making payment with JAL USA CARD.
10% discount on JAL international in-flight internet service by making payment with JAL USA CARD.
An additional 10% sector bonus miles will be given every time the primary cardholder flies with JAL group.
5% discount on purchases at "JAL PLAZA" Shops (for purchases of JPY1,000 or more).
5% discount on duty free shopping at "JAL-DFS" and "JAPAN DUTY FREE" shops in Narita International Airport Terminal 2.
Benefit descriptions are the issuer’s and network’s own wording, trimmed for length. Limits and exclusions are in the guide to benefits.
