Chase Disney Premier Visa Card is a $49-a-year points card from Chase. Its best everyday rates are 2x on dining, 2x on gas stations, and 2x on grocery stores; everything else earns 1x. There is also 2x on Disney Online, a single-merchant rate. Rewards are Disney points that only spend inside that program, so we value them at roughly a third of a cent each.
On our reference budget of $24,600 a year it earns $122, which clears the $49 fee with $73 to spare before any credits or perks. The welcome bonus, $300 after $500 in 3 months, is the strongest reason to open it in a given year.
Get it if you already fly or stay with Disney often enough to use the perks. A general travel card earns points that go more places. It charges 3% on foreign purchases, so leave it home when you travel abroad.
